This is a sort of 'coming of age'
piece. It isn't very long and it's from a first person point of view.
This may turn some of you off, but I recommend that you go for it anyways
(and not just because I wrote it). Maybe it will bring back some memories of
that first journey into falling in love.
Sometimes you think your life is
perfect and nothing can ever go wrong. Sometimes you think the
one you love will love you forever. What if you're wrong? Would
you have the strength to let go and move on? Those are the
questions that haunt Cassidy MacKenzie when her idyllic life
takes a heart wrenching turn. Will she be strong enough? One
story...five points of view.
Do you believe in things that go bump
in the night? Nina Carrel didn't...until she came face to face with
something that she couldn't explain. Now, it is time to go back...to face
her fears. But can she handle knowing the secrets hidden in a
long-forgotten past?
There was no greater betrayal
than that from the one she loved. There was nothing that could
break her spirit more than the hurt caused by lies. Just as she
thought that she could no longer go on, hope came from a very
surprising source.
