How do you measure success? Is
it in the home that you've built for you and your family? Is
it in the size of your bank account? Is it in your child's
eyes when they smile up at you? Whatever the criteria, you
will never achieve your goals unless you want it badly enough.
Success takes a lot of hard
work...and a bit of luck thrown in for good measure. It's easy
to get discouraged, especially when things don't go quite as
you had planned. I get discouraged too, but I'm lucky. Someone
that I loved dearly left behind a book of quotations and I
take comfort and draw strength from its words. I'd like to
share a few. I hope they can come to mean something to you as
well.
